On Saturday, July 17, 2010, the American Red Cross joined the Blue Thong Society at their San Diego Regional Event to educate their Southern California membership about Disaster Preparedness, Services to the Armed Forces and fundraising and volunteering opportunities. The Blue Thong Society is "Going Red" in support of the Red Cross and National Disaster Preparedness Month in September and the local Chapter of the Red Cross is appreciative of this wonderful partnership that will provide volunteers and financial assistance to support Red Cross programs.

Cathy Jo Klemme and Rhonda Kuehl have many things in common: Both have been married for 33 years. Both have empty nests, with their children grown up and gone. Both own businesses.
